How payments work
InfluenceX does not process, hold or transfer money. Payment happens directly between the brand and the creator, by whatever method you agree — bank transfer, UPI, an invoice through your usual system.
What InfluenceX does is keep the record: what was agreed, when it fell due, and what each side says has happened.
When payment falls due
A contract sets a trigger for each payment milestone:
On signing — when the offer is accepted
On delivery — when the work is submitted
On publish — when it goes live
On a date — a specific day you both agree
Marking a payment
Payment is confirmed from both sides, and this matters:
The brand marks a milestone as paid.
The creator confirms they received it.
Only then does the milestone read as settled. A one-sided "paid" flag is where payment disputes come from, so we do not have one. Neither statement is verified by us — we record what each party says.
Product and barter deals
The same two-sided pattern: the brand marks goods as shipped, the creator confirms they arrived.
If you are not paid
Message the brand first — most delays are administrative. If that fails, the contract record shows what was agreed and what was marked. That record is yours to use, including in a formal dispute. Tax on anything you earn is your own responsibility.
